Share Your Story
We want to hear about your experience with America’s health care system and why it’s motivated you to push for reform. Perhaps you know someone who is struggling to pay for the medication and doctor visits needed to properly treat diabetes. Or as a health care professional, you’ve seen the needless suffering of a patient with late-stage breast cancer - suffering that may have been prevented or dramatically reduced had her cancer been detected by a regular mammogram
Follow these simple steps to Share your Story:
1. Click here to open our Find a Way sign. Print it out and have your picture taken holding the sign.
2. Type in your name, email address and story as directed in the box below.
3. Attach the photo of you holding the Find a Way sign (after agreeing that your photo and story may be shared) and click “submit.”
What will we do with the stories?
Your story will help illustrate the pressing need for health care reform. By describing the plight of those making their way through the broken U.S. health care system, particularly the uninsured and underinsured, you can help us demonstrate to elected officials and policymakers how this issue is affecting real individuals.
We are developing a Web option that will allow us to post your story with your submitted picture. Stay tuned as we refine this online tool.
