My experiece has been that this practice does great with the surgery, but drops the ball on being concerned about how pain management is working for the patient. It made me feel like the pain was my fault. I also feel like there is poor coordination between the doctor/PA and the physical therapist. And I would like to have had better instruction on what my acivity level at home should look like as I went along.

Dr. Carpenter comes in knowing about me, what I have had done and what I have been through. He expresses a concern and interest in how I am doing now. He actually exams not only any current concerns but checks out to see how the past “repairs� are doing. He takes time to answer questions and makes sure everything is covered before I leave. There has been many times I have been talking to “strangers� in a grocery store or any place and we start talking about knee or hip replacements and Dr. Carpenter’s name will come up. He is well known far and wide for his skill in fixing his patients and his compassion he has for his patients.
