Cyril Ruwende, MD, PhD is board-certified in cardiovascular disease and interventional cardiology and is the Medical Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab at Trinity Health Ann Arbor. Dr. Ruwende has been practicing cardiology for over 10 years and is the Medical Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab at St. Joseph Mercy Ann Arbor. His clinical interests include coronary, carotid and peripheral interventions as well as structural heart disease. Dr. Ruwende also speaks Shona.

.He has a very professional, yet very friendly manner. He made me feel at ease right from the start. Explained my health situation in detail, but in a way that I totally understood. I was treated like I was an important patient. There were no extended wait times.

It was my first appointment with Dr. Ruwende. Unfortunately, I am going through a lot of personal issues, and I suddenly broke down, feeling extremely embarrassed. He was so kind, and understanding, while letting me get myself composed to get on with our appointment. He didn’t rush me or leave the room. I’d highly recommend him. He also took the time to explain my medical condition, and what we would be doing going forward. He even asked me if I had any questions. If I could give him 10 stars, I would.
