Erika Mowers, MD, is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology. She earned her medical degree and completed residency, as well as a two-year fellowship, in Minimally-Invasive Gynecologic Surgery and Chronic Pelvic Pain at the University of Michigan. Dr. Mowers has achieved a Focused Practice designation in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery from the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology. She has also been recognized as a robotic surgeon of excellence from the Surgical Review Corporation. Dr. Mowers has clinical interests in minimally invasive gynecologic surgery, including laparoscopic and robotic hysterectomy and myomectomy, vNOTES hysterectomy, hysteroscopic procedures, treatment of fibroids, abnormal uterine bleeding, ovarian cysts, endometriosis and pelvic pain.

I had major surgery and my experience with Dr. Mower was excellent. She engaged me and made recommendations as she would for herself or her own family and was very transparent in my options and potential complications. She is excellent in her craft and a very skilled surgeon. She personally followed up after my surgery as well as her staff consistently. If you have issues with fibroids, you absolutely must see her.

Dr. Mowers is the best of the best in her field. She also has an outstanding bedside manner. It's very rare to find both qualities in a specialist! She's confident & not at all bothered if patients seek other opinions. Dr. Mowers is exceptionally respectful of patients' morals, values, & religious beliefs, as well. She's a rare find--a true gem in the field!
