Robert Lyons, MD is board-certified in thoracic surgery and in general surgery. Dr. Lyons completed his cardiothoracic surgery fellowship at the University of California Los Angeles and was awarded the James L. Cox Fellowship by the American Association for Thoracic Surgery. Dr. Lyons was very confident and encouraging pre and post surgery . He did an excellent job during the surgery and my family felt I was in “good hands�. After surgery I saw him everyday and he was very knowledgeable about my recovery as well as informing me of any possible complications.
