Careers and Internships
At The Farm at Trinity Health, we offer a variety of immersive internship opportunities for individuals who are passionate about sustainable agriculture, food access, community health, and Food is Medicine programs. Interns gain hands-on experience growing food, engaging with diverse communities, providing Food is Medicine education, and administering Food is Medicine programs, with each internship able to be tailored to support participants’ unique interests and goals. Our team is built on trust, open communication, and shared core values. We love what we do and hope you can join us!
Agriculture and Community Health Internships (paid)
- The Farm at Trinity Health Ann Arbor: Up to 40 hours per week for 40 weeks, March - December
- The Farm at Trinity Health Oakland: Up to 40 hours per week for 20 weeks, May - August
- The Farm at Trinity Health Muskegon: Up to 40 hours per week for 16 weeks, May - August

Academic-Affiliated Internships and Projects (unpaid, for academic credit)
The Farm at Trinity Health is excited to support a wide range of academic internships and student projects for learners exploring agriculture, nutrition, public health, environmental studies, medicine, and related fields. We regularly host students for rotations, practicums, dietetic and community health internships, medical student projects, and experiential learning tied to environmental or agricultural programs. These opportunities offer hands-on, community-focused experiences that allow students to apply classroom learning in a real-world setting while contributing meaningfully to our mission.
